Inclement Weather Arrangement & Refund Policy

Scenario 1:
If the Red/Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No.3 or above is hoisted at 12a.m. on July 15 (Sun), the race will be cancelled, the Organizer will notify participants via text message. Participants may check the most updated weather condition by calling the Hong Kong Observatory (Tel: 1878200). 70% of the Entry Fee will be refunded under this scenario, the Organizer will announce the refund procedures on July 17 at the event website (http://mtb.sportsoho.com).

Scenario 2:
If the Red/Black Rainstorm Warning or Typhoon Signal No.3 or above is issued during the race, the Race Director [Organizer] has the right to make the final decision on changing the course or canceling any ongoing races. NO refund of Entry Fee will be arranged under this scenario.

Scenario 3:
If the weather condition is unstable throughout the week prior to the race day, and it is forecasted that the above inclement weather conditions are likely to happen on the event day, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel the event 3 days in advance (i.e. on July 12), and full refund of Entry Fee will be arranged. If a cancellation decision is made, the Organizer will update the related information onto the event website and notify participants via email.
